NEW DELHI: The University of Delhi (DU) has extended the deadline for the preference-filling for the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2024 phase 2 for undergraduate admissions. Candidates can now submit their programmes and college preferences by August 9 through the official website, ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
“Preferences saved by the candidates will determine the allocation and admission of the candidates. It is advisable to choose a maximum number of preferences in which a candidate is willing to take admission if offered. Addition, deletion, editing of the programmes and the Colleges after the deadline for Phase 2 will not be allowed,” the official press release read.
The university also informed that the trials for performance-based programmes including Bachelor of Arts (BA-Honours) in Music, Bachelor of Fine Arts, and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physical Education, Health Education, Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) and sports supernumerary quotas will begin on August 12, 2024.
As per the official press release, the allocations for these performance-based programmes and for various supernumerary quotas, such as CW (Children, Widows of Armed Forces Personnel), ECA, sports, PMSSS, Sikkim Nominee, and University of Delhi Ward quota, will be part of the third round of seat allocations.

Webinar on ECA and sports supernumerary quotas
The DU CSAS process will be conducted in three phases including application submission, programme selection and filling of preferences, and seat allocation and admission.
To assist candidates in understanding the trial and admission processes for ECA and sports supernumerary quotas, the admission branch has scheduled a webinar on August 9, 2024, at 3 pm.
This webinar will be streamed live on the official University of Delhi YouTube channel, UnivofDelhi. It will provide detailed guidance on the trial procedures and is highly recommended for all candidates applying under these quotas.
