DU UG Admission 2025: While issuing the information bulletin 2025 for admission to 78 undergraduate programmes for the academic session 2025-2026, the University of Delhi clarified that it is mandatory for the candidate to appear in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2025 in those subjects in which they have passed or appeared in Class 12.
In a major update, DU has allowed students without mathematics to apply for BCom (Honours) programme this year. As per the programme-specific eligibility criteria, aspirants can appear in the CUET exam in the combination of ‘any one language from List A + accountancy/book-keeping + any two subjects from List B’.
As per DU UG admission brochure 2025 available on du.ac.in, admissions to all programmes will be based on CUET UG 2025, except for the School of Open Learning (SOL), Non-Collegiate Women Education Board (NCWEB) and foreign nationals. The course-wise eligibility, number of seats, reservation policy, and list of UG programmes are mentioned in the DU UG admission bulletin 2025.
The basic eligibility criteria for DU UG admission 2025 state that an aspirant must have studied and passed Class 12 examination of any board or university in India or any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
DU clarified that in case the subject studied at Class 12 is not mentioned in CUET UG 2025, the candidate must appear in the language or domain-specific subject that is similar or closely related to the subjects they have studied.
While aspirants can apply for the exam on the CUET UG official website, cuet.nta.nic.in, they will also have to apply for admissions on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) UG 2025 portal.
