DU UG spot round 1 registration 2025 begins tomorrow; allotment on August 28

Download NowUniversity of Delhi (DU) will commence the DU UG admission 2025 spot round 1 registration from tomorrow, August 25. Eligible candidates can apply for DU UG admission 2025 on the official website, admission.uod.ac.in, by August 27. The spot round 1 allotment results will be declared on August 28.

The list of vacant seats will be displayed on August 25 at 5 pm. Students who have registered in the DU CSAS portal, but have not taken admissions yet, are eligible to apply for spot round 1 admissions. However, there’s no option for upgrade or withdrawal during the DU spot round admission. The allotted seat will be considered final.
Once the DU spot round 1 allotment results 2025 are declared, candidates will have to confirm their admission by August 29. The last date to pay the admission fee for DU UG spot round 1 is August 30.
According to the DU update, a total of 68,116 students have been allotted seats for undergraduate (UG) courses in the second round of upgradation .
As per the data shared, a total of 17,595 applicants applied for upgradation in the second round, of which 7,685 secured an upgrade in their choice of programme or college, while 46,257 candidates chose to freeze their seats. Additionally, 2,808 allocations have been made under performance-based and supernumerary categories.
A total of 71,624 UG seats are offered by Delhi University for admission. The university offers 79 UG, 186 BA programme combinations, including other courses in 60 colleges and departments for admissions.
