Download NowThe University of Delhi (DU) has extended the mop-up round seat allocation deadline for undergraduate (UG) admissions 2025-26. As per the revised schedule, colleges can now offer DU UG mop-up round seat allocations till September 13, 2025.

Candidates who have been allocated seats under the DU UG mop-up round will have to complete the payment of the admission fee by September 15, 2025. The notice specifies that the procedure for the mop-up round, as outlined in the university’s press release dated September 3, 2025, will remain unchanged.
“Last date of payment of fee by the candidate till 05:00 pm, Monday, September 15, 2025. The procedure for Undergraduate Admissions under the Mop-Up Round, as stated in the Press Release dated 03.09.2025, will remain the same. Kindly note that no further extension of time will be granted,” the official notice said.
Earlier, candidates were required to complete the payment of the admission fee by September 11 to confirm their seats. The final deadline for completing all admission-related formalities for the DU UG mop-up round is September 13.
DU UG Mop-UP Round 2025: Shortlisting based on Class 12
The colleges started shortlisting candidates from September 8, 2025, based on the merit of Class 12 marks. In cases of a tie, the tie-breaking rules outlined in the Centralised Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for Undergraduate (UG) admissions – 2025 were applied. Shortlisting was also carried out according to the vacancies published by the University of Delhi.
According to the official notice, if a candidate received multiple seat approvals at the same time, they were required to choose one and make the payment accordingly.
The DU issued the list of vacant seats for the 2025-26 academic session mop-up admission round on September 9. Shortlisted candidates can check the available seats across participating colleges and programmes on the official website, admission.uod.ac.in.
