Download NowNEW DELHI: The University of Delhi announced to hold special spot round for DU admission 2022. The university will release DU vacant seats for the special spot admission tomorrow, December 18, on the CSAS portal, admission.uod.ac.in.

The university will display DU vacant seat for shortlisted colleges. Students who have a valid Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2022) score and have registered in DU CSAS admission portal and who have not been allotted any college will be able to participate in the special admission round.
Students who have been allotted seats will not be allowed to withdraw after the announcement of special spot admission. DU has so far filled around 63,900 of the 70,000 UG seats after several rounds of allocation. Around 6,000 seats remain vacant.
DU special spot round admission 2022 will be done based on the availability of seats, programme-specific merit, order of preference of programme and college, and category.
Candidates must note that they will have to choose ‘Special spot round admission’ in the dashboard on DU admission portal to participate. Once the vacant seats list is released at du.ac.in, students will be able to apply for all programmes in the shortlisted colleges.
The DU registrar in the notice said it is mandatory for students admitted through special spot round to accept admission. Failure of acceptance of seat through this round will forfeit the candidates eligibility to Delhi University UG admission 2022.
