DUSU Polls 2026: NSUI receives 6,000 suggestions through ‘My Campus, My Manifesto’

The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) has received nearly 6,000 suggestions from Delhi University students as part of its 'My Campus, My Manifesto' campaign, the student organisation said on Monday. This comes ahead of the Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) election, scheduled to be held on September 18, with results expected on September 19.

The campaign, which has been underway across DU colleges for the past week, involves NSUI teams meeting students and collecting their views and suggestions through suggestion boxes. Students have shared their concerns and suggestions on issues affecting their colleges as well as the university, the organisation said. NSUI said it would analyse the suggestions and prepare a student-centric manifesto based on the priorities and aspirations expressed by students.

"Nearly 6,000 suggestions in just one week show that Delhi University students want their voices to be heard," NSUI media in-charge Ravi Pandey said. "We will analyse every suggestion and ensure that the final manifesto reflects the real concerns and aspirations of students. The manifesto will not be written for students, but by students," he said.

The campaign will continue across the university in the coming days, with NSUI teams reaching out to more students, the organisation said. The initiative is aimed at making students' concerns part of the larger agenda for Delhi University and promoting a more inclusive, accountable and student-driven approach, it added.
