Recently, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has started JEE Main 2023 registration at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main is one of the most important engineering entrance exams which is accepted by most of the engineering colleges in India. However, there are many other engineering entrance exams as well based on which BTech admissions are done. Here is the list of BTech exams you can apply for in January 2023:
- JEE Main 2023: Candidates who wish to appear for JEE Main 2023 can apply for the exam till January 12, 2023. JEE Main session 1 exam will be conducted on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 20, and 31, 2023.
- GUJCET 2023: GSEB released the GUJCET 2023 application forms on January 6 at gujcet.gseb.org. Candidates can fill the application form before January 20. However, the GUJCET exam dates are not yet released by the authorities.
- WBJEE 2023: WBJEEB released the WBJEE 2023 application form on December 23, 2022. Candidates willing to appear for the exam can fill the application form before January 20 on wbjeeb.nic.in. The WBJEE 2023 exam date is April 30.
- MET 2023: Manipal Academy of Higher Education released the application forms for MET 2023 on October 5, 2022. Students can apply for MET 2023 till March 15, 2023, however, to avoid last minute inconvenience candidates are advised to fill the forms before the last date. The MET 2023 registration form is available at manipal.edu.
- VITEEE 2023: Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore released the application forms for VITEEE 2023 in November 2022 on their official website viteee.vit.ac.in. Candidates can fill the application form for VITEEE 2023 till March 31, 2023(tentatively).
- SRMJEEE 2023: SRM Institute of Science and Technology released the application form for SRMJEEE 2023 on November 23, 2022. Candidates can apply for SRMJEEE 2023 phase 1 till April 16, 2023 and for phase 2 and 3 till June 5 and July 17 respectively.
- AEEE 2023: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham released AEEE 2023 application forms on November 19, 2022. Students willing to get admission to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham can apply for AEEE 2023 on their official website amrita.edu. However, the last date to fill the application form is not notified yet.
- PESSAT 2023: PES University released the PESSAT application form 2023 in October 2022. Candidates who wish to appear for the examination can apply online till May 2023.
Engineering entrance exam 2023: Who can apply?
Although the eligibility criteria for every entrance exam is released separately by the concerned authorities, there are certain conditions that are common for all.

Candidates who have passed class 12 in 2022 or appearing in 2023 are eligible to fill the application form.

Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in class 12 along with anyone subject from Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject

The minimum percentage of marks required in class 12 will vary from college to college.
