NEW DELHI: The Footwear Design and Development Institute will announce the first seat allotment result on September 1 on its official website - fddiindia.com. FDDI seat allotment result for round 1 will be displayed on the counselling portal.

FDDI seat allotment
FDDI will allot the seat according to the rank and preference of course & campus subject to the seat availability. Candidates can either accept or surrender the allotted seat to participate in the next round of FDDI seat allotment. However, candidates who will be allotted seats according to their first preference will not be eligible to surrender or change any seat lower in their preference order.
Who are eligible for subsequent round of seat allotment
Following candidates are eligible to participate in the subsequent round of seat allotment.
Registered candidates who have not been allotted a seat or surrendered their seat in the 1st round
Registered candidates whose allotted seats in 1st round got cancelled due to missing documents or fees
Registered candidates who have submitted willingness for second round seat allotment as ‘Yes’
Who are not eligible for subsequent round of seat allotment
Those candidates who are allotted their first choice of course and campus
Those candidates who are reported & withdrawn from counselling
Candidates who fixed their choice and accepted seats allotted in the 1st round
FDDI Seat Allotment - Payment of acceptance fee
Candidates are required to pay the required acceptance fee to confirm their seat within the time frame specified by FDDI. Candidates can pay the seat acceptance fee online through debit/credit card/net banking. The advance fee of Rs 15,000 paid during the registration for counselling will be refunded if candidates are not allotted the seat according to their preference or willing to withdraw from the counselling session.
