NEW DELHI: Less than 24 hours left for India's single largest medical entrance examination, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET. The exam will be held by the National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct NEET 2020 exam on September 13, for as many as 15.97 lakh registered aspirants in 155 cities for admission to 80,055, MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH and 525 BVSc & AH offered in colleges of India. For the convenience of candidates, NEET exam centres have been increased from 2,546 to 3,843. Aspirants should know the important points which must be kept in mind on the D-day.

NEET 2020 Important Points To Keep In Mind

With so little time, candidates must ensure to keep all the crucial information in mind to be followed before, during and after NEET-UG 2020 exam mentioned below.

Before NEET 2020 exam guidelines

  • Keep all the documents ready

In order to appear for NEET-UG 2020, it is mandatory for each aspirant to carry a set of documents and items such as - mask for face, gloves for hand, personal transparent water bottle, personal small hand sanitizer (50 ml) and valid ID Proof (Aadhaar card, Ration card, Passport, PAN card, Driving license, Voter ID or other government authorized document).

  • Reach the exam centres as per the allotted slot in NEET 2020 admit card

To maintain COVID-19 safety measures, the authority has allotted slots to each candidate for the exam day in which they need to report to the NEET 2020 exam centres. For the year 2020, the NTA has increased the exam centres from 2546 to 3843.

As per the guidelines set by the authority for the exam day, candidates are required to follow social distancing rules during the NEET UG medical examination such as

On completion of the NEET 2020 exam, candidates must move out in an orderly manner (One candidate at a time). The gloves and masks should be disposed of in a pedal push covered bin at the NEET 2020 examination Centre and outside the examination room/hall only
