FMGE 2019 Application Form released for June session; Apply till May 6

NEW DELHI, April 16: National Board of Examinations (NBE) has started the registration of Foreing Medical Graduate Exam for June session on April 15, 2019. Candidates who completed their medical studies abroad and willing to practice in India should apply for FMGE 2019 on or before May 6. NBE, earlier, announced the exam date, which is to be held on June 28, 2019, in computer based mode.

The medical graduates should be an Indian Citizen or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), who have possessed their primary medical qualification confirmed by the Indian Embassy of concerned country.

Register for FMGE entering the personal details, mobile number, email ID and others.

Once registered, User ID and password will be received by applicants on the registered email ID.

Login using the required credentials to complete the remaining application form which consists of three sections - personal details, qualification details, test centre details.

Payment of application fee should be done for successful registration.

Take a printout of the filled in application form for further references.
The application fee of Rs. 5,500 must be paid in online mode through credit/debit cards or net banking to complete the registration process. FMGE is a screening test for OCIs and Indian citizens to obtain a provisional or permanent registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) to start their career as a medical practitioner in India.
The discrepancies in the application form will be communicated to the applicant through email ID, 15 days after the closing of registration. Thereafter, only one week will be given to rectify the grievances. The admit card to appear for Foreign Medical Graduate Exam will be released by June 21, 2019, on the official website.
