FMGE June 2024 registration begins today; eligibility, fee, important dates

NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will begin the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2024 registration at 1 pm today, April 29. Eligible aspirants will be able to apply for the NBE FMGE exam on the official website, nbe.edu.in. FMGE June 2024 will be conducted on July 6.

As per the eligibility criteria for FMGE June 2024,

• The candidate must be a citizen of India or Overseas Citizen of India.
• The candidate should possess a primary medical qualification, which is confirmed by the Indian Embassy concerned, to be a recognized qualification for enrolment as medical practitioner in
• the country in which the institution awarding the said qualification is situated.
• The result of the final examination for the primary medical qualification should have been declared on or before April 30, 2024.

In order to apply for the FMGE exam, applicants will have to pay an examination fee of Rs 6,195.

FMGE June 2024: Important dates

The date and time for registration, correction window, and other activities for the June session of the FMGE exam are given below.

FMGE June 2024 will consist of one paper containing 300 multiple choice questions. The paper will be divided into two parts, each part containing 150 questions. Candidates will need a minimum of 150 marks to be declared pass. There will be no negative marking.
