Forenoon Shift of January 12 JEE Main Paper-1 commences

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 12: Candidates allotted for the final exam day of JEE Main 2019 Paper I will be attempting the examination today. The forenoon session has commenced and will end at 12:30 PM. Students attempting the exam started arriving at the various centres from early morning to avoid being late for the much awaited national level engineering entrance examination. The afternoon shift of JEE Main 2019 Paper I will commence from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. 

NTA has introduced the computer-based examination for JEE Main 2019. The 5-day long examination is being held from January 9 to 12 for Paper 1 (B.Tech). Paper 2 (B.Arch) of JEE Main 2019 was held on January 8. The examination is being conducted in two shifts per day. 

As per the students’ reactions from the previous day papers, JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 has been moderately difficult with the questions being divided equally from the 11th and 12th standard syllabus. Mathematics is turning out to be a tougher section as compared to Physics and Chemistry in the papers that have been conducted till now. The entire paper is reportedly easier than the previous year JEE Main 2019 examination paper.
