NEW DELHI, JULY 31: Switzerland’s premier hospitality management institution Les Roches Global Hospitality Education has tied up with hospitality company, Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), to launch ‘The Next General Manager of India’ programme targeting young hospitality professionals.
The winner of the programme will get one full scholarship to study MBA in Global Hospitality Management at Les Roches Global Hospitality Education which will be followed by a fast track development program at an IHCL hotel.
Interested participants have to fulfil the programme’s admission requirements after which they will have to submit a business case. Shortlisted candidates will compete in a final selection event in Mumbai.
The programme was conceptualized to address the prevalent skills gap among graduates and help them support the growth of the travel and tourism industry in India.
Speaking about the program, Dr. Christine Demen Meier, Managing Director of Les Roches said, “We look back on a long-standing presence in India and are thrilled to associate Les Roches’ Swiss model of education with IHCL, developing the necessary skills and promoting career opportunities in the hospitality industry.”
