NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date to fill and submit the GAT-B application form 2022 till April 3. Candidates who have not yet applied for GAT-B 2022 can do so by visiting the official website - dbt.nta.ac.in. The GAT-B 2022 application correction window will be made available from April 7 to 8.

The GAT-B 2022 entrance exam will be conducted on April 23 from 9 AM to 12 PM, in computer-based mode (CBT). Candidates will be given 3 hours to solve all the possible questions in the GAT-B 2022. The total number of questions asked in the GAT-B 2022 exam is 160 and candidates need to attempt at least 120 questions.
The question paper of GAT-B 2022 will be divided into two sections - section A will contain multiple choice questions of 10+2 level: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, while section B will include multiple choice questions of Graduate/Bachelor’s level in the subjects: Basic Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology and allied areas.

As per the GAT-B 2022 marking scheme, each correct answer in section A will fetch one 1 mark and for each wrong answer, 1/2 mark will be deducted. In section B, each correct answer will give 3 marks. There will be negative marking and for each wrong answer, one 1 mark will be deducted.
Graduate Aptitude Test (GAT-B) is conducted annually by NTA for candidates seeking admissions to M.Sc Biotechnology and allied science programmes. Candidates will be allotted seats in GAT-B participating institutions 2022 based on their GAT-B scores and the number of seats available in the colleges.
