Try NowNEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 9: IIT Madras has ended the facility to correct category on November 9. Candidates who had made error while entering their category could rectify Gender/Category/PwD Status /Dyslexia and other similar learning disabilities from October 31 to November 9. In order to make this correction, candidates had to pay fee of Rs 750 wherever applicable.
However, candidates will be able to change the exam city till November 16. In order to make this request, candidates will be required to pay a requisite fee. Candidates will have to log-in to the GOAPS portal using their credentials.
IIT Madras will be conducting GATE 2019 on February 2, 3, 9 & 10 in online mode for 24 papers. Candidates appearing for GATE 2019 will be able to download their admit card from January 4 onwards.
The national level engineering postgraduate entrance examination is conducted for admission to M.E./M.Tech and Ph.D. programmes at IITs, IISc, NITs, GFTIs and other Universities in India. In 2019, GATE will be hold across 200 cities in India and six cities abroad.
To prepare for the entrance examination in a better way, authorities have released GATE 2019 mock test on October 30. Candidates can attempt mock test in online mode for all 24 papers. However, the Statistics paper mock test is introduced for the first time and it will be similar to GATE 2018 Mathematics paper.
