GATE 2019 Correction Facility For Change in Exam City Opens

Try NowNEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 14 - GATE aspirants can now request for the change in exam city in their application form. IIT Madras has open the correct window for exam city change request from November 13. Candidates who wish to change/edit or modify their exam city in the GATE 2019 application form can do it by log-in into the student portal. Also, such candidates will have to pay the requisite amount as per the norms. This facility is available till November 16. No request after the given due date will be entertained by the authorities.
Apart from these, PwD candidates with benchmark disabilities, who have not opted for scribe but would like to opt for the one can request to exam conducting body till November 16. In order to request for the scribe, candidates will have to write a mail at gate2019@iitm.ac.in.
GATE 2019 will be conducted by IIT Madras in online mode on February 2, 3, 9 & 10 for 24 papers. All the eligible candidates who will apply for GATE 2019 will be able to download there admit card from January 4 onwards.
GATE is the national level engineering postgraduate entrance examination conducted for admission to various M.E./M.Tech and Ph.D. programmes at IITs, IISc, NITs, GFTIs and other Universities in India. In 2019, GATE will be held across 200 cities in India and six cities abroad.
In order to prepare for the entrance exam, candidates can attempt online mock test released by the authorities on October 30. These mock test are available for all 24 papers. Since, Statistics paper mock test is newly introduced, it will be similar to GATE 2018 Mathematics paper.
