GATE 2019: Exam for 15 Papers to be conducted today; Check Answer Keys and Analysis here

 

New Delhi, February 3: The much anticipated and awaited  in engineering exam for high pay PSU jobs and M.Tech admissions has finally begun from February 2. Exam is conducted in morning shift during 09:30 to 12:30 PM and evening shift during 02:30 to 05:30 PM. Papers of ME, MN, XE, XL, TF and CY were concluded on the very first day of exam. On February 3, papers of CS and CH is being held in forenoon shift during 09:30 to 12:30 PM while paper of AE, AG, AR, BT, EY, GG, IN, MA, MT, PE, PH, PI and ST will be held in afternoon shift.

IIT Madras is conducting the GATE 2019 exam across 200 test centres in India and abroad in fully online CBT mode. GATE exam is taken by thousands of engineering students every year to bag admissions in M.Tech course and jobs in PSUs. Institutes like IITs, NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs offer admission in M.Tech course through GATE. Students who qualifies GATE are also offered stipend and annual contingency grant by MHRD, Govt of India for taking care of expenses which incur during M.Tech course.

The GATE exam is considered one of the toughest exam in India. As per the recent students reaction, the ME paper held on February 2, 2019 was from moderate to high difficulty level with quantum mechanics part being at par. Other papers held on first day were also given mixed reviews from strenuous to moderate level.

Various coaching institutes are also publishing their answer keys and analysis to help students know their performance and scores. The result of GATE 2019 will be declared by IIT Madras on March 16.
