NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 26: IIT Madras has released the detailed exam schedule of GATE 2019. The online entrance examination for M.Tech admissions and PSU recruitments will be conducted in two sessions per day on February 2, 3, 9 and 10, 2019. While most of the GATE papers are held as single-session papers, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering papers will be conducted as multi-session papers (exams in two different sessions).
The entrance examination is being conducted over a period of four days. A total of eight sessions will be held by the authorities for the 24 papers. The sessions are divided as two per day - Forenoon (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and Afternoon (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM).
GATE 2019 Exam Schedule
GATE 2019 will be conducted as a 3-hour long online examination and will consist of General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics (for XL papers it is Chemistry) and subject-specific questions. According to the subject selected by the candidates, the questions will be set by the authorities.
When will the admit card of GATE be released?
Registered candidates will be able to download their GATE admit card on January 4, 2019. The facility to access the admit card will be open through GOAPS. To download the admit card, the candidates will have to submit their enrolment ID/email ID and password.
