GATE 2020 : Correction facility in exam paper and other details available now

New Delhi, November 20: The correction facility for change in GATE 2020 exam paper has started. GATE 2020 organising institute IIT Delhi notified the same through its official website. Students who want to change their GATE paper can use the service for making the desired changes. Students have to login to their GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) portal using application number and password for making the changes.
The facility for making changes in exam city, candidate basic details, gender, father’s name, details of education qualification etc is also available. GATE application form was available from September 3 to October 5. The examination will be conducted on February 1, 2, 8 and 9 across various test cities in multiple shifts. The result will be announced on March 16 post which counselling will be conducted for admission in all the participating institutes.
Students who qualify GATE becomes eligible for admission in postgraduate engineering courses in institutes like IITs, NITs and other prestigious institutes. GATE score is also used by many PSUs like SAIL, GAIL, NTPS for recruitment in various posts.
