Try NowNew Delhi, November 27: Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi - the conducting body of GATE has released the branch wise exam schedule of GATE 2020. The examination will be conducted on February 1, 2, 8 and 9 over 8 sessions. This year a total of 8,58,030 students have registered for GATE for total 25 Papers including the newly added paper of Biomedical Engineering. GATE 2020 will be conducted over 4 days with 2 sessions each day. The forenoon session will be held from 09:30 AM– 12:30 PM and the exams in the afternoon session will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The paper wise schedule of GATE 2020 is given below:

All the papers will be held in a single session except Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering that will be conducted over 2 sessions indicating that the most number of candidates registered for these 2 papers. The day and time of examination of the candidate will be present in the GATE admit card which will be available for download from January 3.
