NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will release GATE 2020 result on March 16. Result will be published online on the official GATE 2020 website gate.iitd.ac.in. Students will be required to login to GATE Online Application Processing System, commonly known as GOAPS using their enrollment ID/registered email ID and password to check their result. The URL to GOAPS portal is appsgate.iitd.ac.in and students can directly visit this link to check their result.
Steps to check GATE 2020 Result
Step 1- Open the official GATE 2020 website mentioned above and click on the GATE Result 2020 link. Alternatively directly open the GOAPS portal
Step 2- Login using enrollment ID/registered email ID and password
Step 3- Click on the result tab
Step 4- GATE 2020 result of candidate will be displayed on screen mentioning details about marks secured by candidate, total marks and qualifying status.
Students who secures the minimum qualifying marks are declared qualified. The minimum qualifying marks is different for all 25 subjects and also varies for GENERAL, OBC and SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Students who qualify the exam will be issued a score card. GATE score card is the official document which certifies the qualifying status of a candidate. Scorecard will be available for download in GOAPS portal after one week from the announcement of result.
The validity of GATE score is three years from the announcement of result, which means students can use their GATE score for M.Tech admission or PSU recruitment up to three years.
