Try NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay released GATE admit card 2021 on January 8 and also allowed candidates to apply for corrections. Today, January 13, is the last date to apply for corrections in the GATE admit card 2021 download.
Candidates who downloaded their admit cards from GATE 2021 GOAPS portal had to verify all the information. In case of an error in the information provided by them during registration or while filling the GATE application form 2021 candidates have to contact the zonal GATE office via email.
GATE 2021 admit card correction: Highlights
Candidates have to take care of the following pointers regarding correction in the details in GATE 2021 admit card:

Correction can only be applied for in the information which candidates had provided through GOAPS portal while filling the application form.

Candidates have to contact the zonal GATE office via email before last date, i.e. January 13.

The subject line of that email has to be ‘Correction in Admit Card’.

Candidates have to email the authorities while explaining the context clearly and also have to attach a copy of application form and other relevant documents if any.

The authorities have made it clear that only the discrepancies from the GATE application form will be subject to rectification.

Requests for changes in existing filled up data will not be entertained.

Although the last date for GATE admit card 2021 download is February 4, candidates will not be able to apply for corrections in details from tomorrow onwards.
The authorities are going to conduct GATE 2021 exam on February 6, 7, 13 and 14 across the country. Paper wise GATE exam dates are also announced by the authorities.
