NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has concluded the first shift of GATE 2021 exam for February 7. In the GATE 2021 February 7 shift 1 exam, the authorities conducted the test for four papers - Electrical Engineering (EE), Geology and Geophysics (GG), Agricultural Engineering (AG), Ecology and Evolution (EY).
The first shift of the GATE 2021 exam was held for the duration of three hours starting at 9:30 in the morning and concluding at 12:30 in the afternoon. As per the students who appeared in the GATE 2021 exam on February 7 shift 1, the overall difficulty level of the exam for all four papers was moderate.
The difficulty level of the GATE 2021 Electrical Engineering paper was moderate. This year 2 marks questions are given more weightage. Also, there were no MSQs in GATE 2021 EE.
IIT Bombay is conducting two shifts on February 7 and the GATE 2021 second shift of the day will commence at 3:00 PM. The GATE 2021 Feb 7 shift 2 will be held for five papers - Electronics and Communication Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Environmental Science and Engineering, Statistics, Production and Industrial Engineering.
Candidates are required to carry the GATE 2021 admit card to the examination centre along with other items such as original id proof, water bottle, pocket size hand sanitizer, pen and pencil. Also, students are advised to reach the GATE 2021 venue at least an hour before the commencement of the exam. Candidates will be permitted to occupy their seats 40 minutes before the scheduled start of the exam.
