NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has released the complete Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering 2022 (GATE 2022) exam schedule on the official website gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Candidates may also note that the GATE 2022 admit card will be available on January 3, 2022. As per the schedule, GATE 2022 exam dates are February 5, 6, 12 and 13, 2022.

Earlier, IIT Kharagpur announced the exam dates, however, it has now released the paper-wise GATE 2022 exam dates. The institute has also introduced two new papers -Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, and Geomatics Engineering - for the GATE 2022 computer-based exam.

The institute also informed that the CE and ME will be conducted in two sessions.
IIT Kharagpur has introduced multiple changes in the IITKGP GATE 2022 exam , including introduction of two new papers, conducting exams for a few papers in multiple sessions, separate GATE 2022 score and ranking for candidates appearing for Geology and Geophysics (GG), Humanities and Social Sciences (XH) and Architecture and Planning (AR) among others.
As per the revised eligibility criteria , BDS and MPharm degrees holders can also apply and appear for the GATE 2022 exam
