GATE 2022: Last date to make correction in application form today

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur will close the GATE 2022 application form correction window today, November 12. Candidates who wish to make changes in their category, subject paper, examination city or other fields must do it through the GATE 2022 correction window before the deadline. It must be noted that candidates will be required to pay additional fee for the changes through GATE application form correction 2022, if applicable.

Candidates who have chosen Sonepat, Panipat and Idukki as GATE 2022 exam cities can also change them through the GATE 2022 application correction without paying any additional fee. These three GATE 2022 exam cities have been removed by the authorities so candidates will not be required to pay any fee for changing them. Steps for GATE 2022 application form correction

• Visit gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

• Click on the “Login” button.

• Enter email address/enrollment ID and password.

• Click on the “Submit” button.

• Select fields to be changed - subject papers, exam city, category, etc.

• Pay additional fees, if applicable.

• Submit the form.

The payment of additional fees for making GATE 2022 correction can be done in online mode using credit/debit card or internet banking. Candidates must make the required changes during the GATE application form correction 2022 facility as no other option will be provided to them.

It must be noted that before this, the authorities displayed defective GATE 2022 application forms on October 26. Candidates with defects in GATE application form 2022 can rectify it till November 12.

GATE 2022 is scheduled to be held on February 5, 6, 12 and 13. GATE 2022 admit card will be released on the official website on January 3. As per the GATE 2022 exam dates, the results will be declared on March 17.
