GATE 2022 registration to start tomorrow; Know paper combination allowed

Check NowNEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur will start the GATE 2022 registration process from tomorrow, August 30. Candidates who are seeking MTech admissions through GATE 2022 will be able to fill the application form through GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS). The last date to apply for GATE 2022 is September 24. Candidates are advised to check the GATE exam eligibility criteria before applying.
The entire GATE 2022 registration process which includes filling up of the application form, uploading of certificates / documents, and payment of fees is in online mode only. Candidates are not required to send any hard copy of their GATE registration forms / documents etc. to IIT Kharagpur or any of the zonal GATE offices.
How to fill GATE 2022 application form?

Access the GATE application form 2022 through GOAPS.

Click on the “GATE 2022 registration” link.

Complete the GATE registration form 2022 by entering the basic details like name, id, mobile number, password etc.

Upon submitting the details, OTP will be sent to the registered email id. Use the OTP to complete the GATE 2022 registration process.

Next, using the credentials, log into the GATE 2022 application form portal and fill all the required details.

Uploading of all the necessary documents also has to be done.

Finally, make the payment of the GATE application form 2022 in online mode.
The authorities have allowed candidates to apply for one or two papers, however, students are required to select the two paper combinations from the list released at gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Also, candidates appearing in one or two papers should fill only one application form. In case of multiple GATE 2022 applications, only one will be accepted and remaining applications will be rejected without any refund for the paid fee.

GATE 2022 is scheduled to be conducted on February 5, 6, 12 and 13. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national examination conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for admission to postgraduate courses in the participating institutes.
