GATE 2024 regular registration ends today at gate2024.iisc.ac.in; late fee, important dates
Gate 2024 will be held for 30 subjects on February 3, 4, 10 and 11 for admission to various PG programmes of IISc Bangalore and 23 IITs.

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Science (IISc Bangalore) will close the regular registration process of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024) today. Candidates can apply for the GATE 2024 on the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

Candidates can fill the application form till October 20 but they will have to pay a late fee. Students belonging to general and OBC categories will have to pay a registration fee of 1,300 while female candidates and those belonging from SC, ST and PwD categories will have to pay Rs 900 application fee. Candidates will be charged Rs 500 as late from tomorrow onwards.
Documents required
The candidates will have to upload a high quality passport size photograph. He also has to upload an image. The requirements of these images are mentioned in the information brochure. A scanned copy of a valid photo identity such Aadhar card, passport, PAN card, voter Id and drivers’ licence has to be provided. The candidate will also have to upload a photo identity that he will have to carry during the GATE 2024 exam. Category certificate, if any, also has to be provided.
Gate 2024 will be held for 30 subjects on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2024. The result will be announced on March 16, 2024 while the score card will be available on March 23, 2024. Gate 2024 is being held for admission to various PG programmes of IISc Bangalore and 23 Indian Institutes of Technology.

GATE 2024 application correction window
IIS Bangalore will allow candidates to make changes in the application form from November 7 to 11. Candidates will be able to make these changes when the correction window will be opened by paying a fee of Rs 500:
- Name of the candidate
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Category
- Country of Residence
- Parent/Guardian’s Mobile Number
- Correspondence Address
- Exam centre and exam city details
- Qualifying Degree Details
