GATE 2024 Result: Score card available from March 23; what’s next
The GATE 2024 score card will be valid for admission into PG programmes offered by the IISc Bangalore, IITs, NITs and other participating colleges.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc Bangalore) has uploaded the link of the GATE 2024 results. Students will be allowed to download the GATE 2024 score card on the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in, from March 23. The GATE score will be used for admission into postgraduate programmes offered by the IISc Bangalore, IITs, NITs and other participating colleges.
The GATE 2024 scorecard will be valid for three years from the date of announcement of the result i.e. today. The GATE score card 2024 will have details such as candidate’s name and address, marks obtained, qualifying marks, GATE score, All India Rank, and the number of candidates who appeared in the paper.
GATE 2024 score weightage
The participating institutes will conduct the admission to the PG programmes using GATE 2024 score, personal interview and academic performance. The GATE 2024 score will get 70% weightage while PI and academic performance will get 30% weightage.
The GATE score will also be used by the public sector undertakings (PSUs) for the recruitment process. The following PSUs offer job opportunities to the GATE qualified candidates.
- Maharatna PSUs (BHEL, GAIL, IOCL, SAIL, and more)
- Navratna PSUs (BEL, Oil Indian Limited, Power Grid and more)
- Mini-ratna PSUs (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, PEC Limited, THDC India Limited and more)
Candidates will be able to apply for the PSUs recruitment through the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP).
How to download GATE score card 2024
Students can download the GATE 2024 exams corecard online by following these steps:
- Go to the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in
- Click on the GATE 2024 score card login link
- Enter the enrolment ID, email address and password
- GATE 2024 score card will be displayed
- Download and take a printout for future reference.
