GATE 2024 result tomorrow at gate2024.iisc.ac.in; scorecards from March 23

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) will declare the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 result tomorrow, March 16. IISc Bangalore held GATE 2024 exam for 30 papers on February 3, 4, 10, and 11. Candidates will be able to access and download the GATE 2024 results by visiting the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

One can apply for master's courses at IITs and other technical institutes based on their GATE results. Many PSUs also require GATE marks for recruitment. To download the GATE 2024 results, candidates will require their application number and password. GATE 2024 scorecard will be available on March 23.

The GATE 2024 score card will mention details such as the registration number, gender, name of the test paper, GATE score out of 1000, GATE marks out of 100, all-India rank, and the qualifying score for each paper.

GATE 2024 Result: Score calculation

The real (raw) marks acquired by a candidate will be used to calculate the GATE 2024 score. For multi-session papers (subjects), candidates' raw marks from different sessions will be converted to normalised marks for that subject. Thus, raw marks (for single-session examinations) or normalised marks (for multi-session papers) would be utilized to calculate the GATE score 2024.

GATE 2024 Result: Previous year's statistics

In the previous year, about one lakh of the 6.7 lakh candidates who applied for GATE 2023 could qualify. In 2022, out of around 8 lakh students, 1.12 lakh passed the test. Last year, the toppers were announced based on their branches. In some branches, GATE toppers received up to 1000 marks.

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to check GATE 2024 results

• Go to the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in
• On the homepage, click on the link that says “GATE 2024 result link”.
• You will be redirected to a login page.
• Enter your login credentials such as application number and password.
• GATE 2024 results will be displayed on your screen.
• Save and take a printout for future reference.
