Try NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has published the detailed Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 official brochure on the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The GATE 2025 official brochure mentions the exam date, shift timings, result date, registration deadline, application fee, test papers as well as scorecard date.
As per the official brochure the GATE 2025 registration will commence on August 24. The GATE 2025 registration without late fee will close on September 26. GATE 2025 final registration deadline with late fee is October 7. Interested and eligible candidates can fill up the GATE 2025 registration form by visiting the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
GATE 2025 application fee
Candidates are required to pay the GATE 2025 application fee to complete the registration process. The GATE 2025 application fee for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories and females is Rs 900. For all other candidates the GATE 2025 registration fee Rs 1,800.
GATE 2025 admit card date
As per the official brochure, the GATE 2025 admit card will be issued on January 2. The GATE 2025 admit card will only be available for download on the official GATE 2025 website, and no printed copies will be mailed to candidates. During the online application process, candidates are required to choose and provide the document number for one valid photo ID from the following options- Aadhaar-UID (preferred), Aadhaar Virtual ID, Government-issued ID, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Driving License. On the exam day, candidates are required bring the original ID proof along with the GATE 2025 admit card.
GATE 2025 exam date and timings
The IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15, and 16 for admission to master’s programmes offered by IITs and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. The GATE 2025 exam will be held in two shifts each day. As per the GATE 2025 exam timings, forenoon session will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm (IST) and afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
