Try NowThe Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Guwahati) has issued the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2026) tentative answer key on the official website of GATE at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. ALong with the answer key, the institute also released the response sheet, and question paper. To download the GATE provisional answer key 2026, candidates have to enter their valid enrollment ID and password.
Candidates who are not satisfied with the GATE 2026 provisional answer key can challenge it through the official portal by paying a requisite fee of Rs 500 per objection.
The challenges raised by the candidates will be verified by a panel of subject experts. If they are correct, the GATE answer key will be revised accordingly.

IIT Guwahati conducted the GATE 2026 computer-based test (CBT) on February 7, 8, 14, and 15 for 30 subjects. The exam had different types of questions, including Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
The GATE 2026 result will be based on the final answer key. According to the schedule, IIT Guwahati will release the results on March 19.
