Check NowNew Delhi, May 14: The COAP 2019 first round seat allotment result has been declared by IIT Madras. Students can check the COAP 2019 round one seat allotment results by logging into the portal using their GATE registration ID and password. Students who have been allotted a seat can either accept the offer and step out of further counselling procedure or go ahead with the further rounds of admission with or without accepting the seat. Students who accept the allotted seat have to visit the respective institute portal in which the admission is provided and complete the remaining admission formalities. Step 1- Login in to the COAP 2019 portal @ coap.iitm.ac.in
Step 2- Check the seat allotment result
Step 3- Students who have been allotted a seat can select either Accept and Freeze , Retain and Wait or Reject and Wait option
Step 4- Students who accepts the seat have to visit the institute website in which seat is allotted and complete the further admission process
Step 5- Students who chose retain and wait can accept the seat but would be considered for any upgradation in his/her filled choices
Step 6- Students who have chosen reject and wait can participate in further admission rounds
IIT Madras is facilitating the admissions of GATE qualified candidates in IITs. Students who have qualified GATE with valid score can apply for admission in IITs through COAP 2019. Students must note that COAP is not the application portal for M.Tech admissions. Students have to apply to the respective institute for which the admission is desired along with COAP registration. Every institute will release the list of admitted students which will be released in COAP portal.
The second, third, fourth and fifth list of COAP 2019 will be released on May 24, June 3, 13 and 23 respectively. There will also be another two rounds of Round A and B counselling in July 3 and 10, depending on the availability of seats.
