Try NowNEW DELHI: GATE COAP seat allotment for round 3 has been released on the Common Offer Acceptance Portal today, June 11. Candidates can check their GATE COAP round 3 seat allotment result using their user id and password. Candidates will be able to exercise their options after the seat allotment till June 13.
How to check GATE COAP Round 3 seat allotment

Visit coap.iitd.ac.in.

Click on the “Login” tab.

Enter user Id and password.

Click on the “Login” button.

GATE COAP seat allotment status of each institute applied by the student will be displayed on the screen.

Candidates will have an option to “Accept and Freeze”, “Retain and Wait”, “Reject and Wait” the allotted seat.
Options after GATE COAP seat allotment under round 3
Candidates can exercise different options after GATE COAP seat allotment as explained below.
Option 1- 'Accept and Freeze': Candidates willing to accept the seat allotted under GATE COAP round 3 have to select this option. Candidates selecting this option will not be considered in the subsequent rounds of admission in any of the participating institutes.
Option 2- 'Retain and Wait': If a candidate accepts the seat allotted to him/her but wants to be considered for upgrading in the subsequent round of offers, they have to select this option. Candidates selecting this option will not be considered for the other rejected offers in the current round. However, if any higher preferred offer is made in the next round then the existing 'Retain and Wait' offer will be released. Also, a candidate can choose "Retain and Wait" on the same institute and same programme only twice.
Option 3- 'Reject and Wait': If a candidate is not willing to accept any of the allotted seats in GATE COAP round 3 allotment, he/she should choose this option. Such candidates will be considered for other higher preferences, if any, in the subsequent rounds of admission offered in any participating academic Institutes.
A total of five GATE COAP seat allotment rounds are being conducted for candidates. In addition to these, additional 5 rounds will also be conducted. Till now, the authorities have conducted round 1 and round 2 of GATE COAP seat allotment and round 3 is available till June 13.
