GATE COAP 2024: Seat allotment accepting options
During COAP counselling 2024, applicants must confirm the seat allotment by selecting "Accept and freeze," "Retain and wait," "Reject and wait," or "Reject." Candidates who have not been allocated a seat will have to wait for further rounds.
- Accept and freeze - Candidates should pick this option if they want to accept the offered seat and avoid being upgraded in following rounds of seat allotment. Such candidates will not be considered for seat allocation or upgrade offers in following rounds of admission.
- Retain and wait - This option should be used when applicants desire to accept their given seat while simultaneously being considered for promotion in following seat allotment rounds.
- Reject and wait - Candidates should pick this option when they aren't interested in accepting any of the allocated seats but desire to be considered for following rounds of seat allotment.
- Reject - Candidates should pick this option if they do not wish to take any of the seats allotted during GATE COAP counselling 2024.
