GATE Registration 2022: Know the dos and don'ts

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur will start the GATE 2022 registration from September 2 at the official website -gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Candidates will be able to fill their GATE 2022 application form till September 24. However, the last date for GATE registration 2022 with a late fee of Rs 500 is October 1.

GATE 2022 registration: dos

• Before starting the GATE application 2022, candidates must check the eligibility criteria for the exam.

• All the documents required for filling the GATE 2022 application form must be kept ready by the candidates.

• Candidates should enter all the details carefully in the application form of GATE 2022 and also ensure that proper and visible scanned images of photograph and signature are uploaded by them.

• Candidates should complete the GATE registration 2022 before the last date.

• While choosing the combination of two subject papers; candidates have to choose the second GATE 2022 paper from the allowed combinations only.

• Those claiming SC/ST or PwD reservation should upload the required certificates with their application.

GATE registration: don’ts

• In no case, candidates should send the GATE application form 2022 through email. Only online applications are accepted.

• Candidates should not submit multiple GATE 2022 forms; it can lead to the rejection of applications. It should be noted that a single GATE application form 2022 has to be filled for appearing in two papers.

• Candidates should not upload photographs wearing goggles or covering their faces.

• Printout of GATE 2022 application form is not to be sent to the authorities; candidates should save it for future reference.

GATE 2022 will be conducted as an online exam for 29 subject papers on February 5, 6, 12, and 13. GATE 2022 admit card will be issued to all the registered candidates on January 3.
