GPAT 2019 commences; examination being held on computer-based mode

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 28, 2019: The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2019 has commenced and will conclude at 5:30 PM. The national level entrance exam is being conducted online in over 58 cities all over India. GPAT 2019 candidates began filing in well on time to avoid any last minute hassle.

This year onwards the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting GPAT to offer 24,096 M.Pharmacy seats to the deserving candidates. Every year, approximately 35,000 students appear for GPAT.

Candidates appearing for GPAT 2019 were to take identification documents to enter the exam hall. Other than that, no unnecessary items like pencil box, geometry box, handbag, any kind of stationery/ textual material (printed or written), eatables and water, mobiles and other electronics were allowed inside the venue. Adequate stationery items will be provided by the invigilators in the exam hall. Moreover, diabetic candidates were permitted to carry sugar tablets, fruits and water bottles in transparent packaging.
