NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) on February 27, 2021. GPAT exam will be conducted amid COVID-19. Along with the admit card, NTA has released the COVID-19 advisory. The NTA advisory regarding COVID-19 contains instructions for candidates to follow at the exam centre. For the health and safety of aspirants, NTA will take preventive measures as well. As per the coronavirus guidelines, candidates must follow social distancing and hygiene instructions. Here are the GPAT 2021 COVID-19 advisory and guidelines, things to carry, and preparation at the exam centres.

What to carry at GPAT exam centre:

As per the COVID-19 guidelines, aspirants can carry the following things to the centre:

  • Personal transparent water bottle

  • Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)

  • A simple transparent ballpoint pen

  • Admit card with self-declaration downloaded from NTA website

  • Additional passport size photograph to affix on attendance sheet

  • Original ID proof

  • Mask and gloves

GPAT exam preparation at the centre for COVID-19

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for safety precautions will be implemented.

  • Before the exam starts, the seating area with all the monitors, keyboards, mouse, webcam, desk and the chair will be thoroughly sanitized. All the door handles, staircase railing, lift buttons will be disinfected.

  • Sanitizer will be available for candidates at the entry and inside the exam centre. Thermo guns will be used to check the body temperature.

  • To implement the touch-free, bar code readers will be used to scan the GPAT admit card.

  • Six rough sheets will be provided by the invigilators before the entry wearing the gloves.

  • Due to COVID and to avoid the crowd, aspirants are expected to report at the centre as per the time mentioned in the hall ticket.

GPAT 2021 - COVID-19 preparation at the time of entry

Aspirants must maintain a space of at least six feet. Queue managers, ropes and floor marks will be available outside the centres.

  • A 3 Ply mask will be provided at the exam centre. In case to stop any chances of Unfair Means (UFM), candidates must wear the mask.

  • Hand sanitizers will be available at the various locations in the centre.

COVID guidelines after the exam

After the completion of the test, candidates must wait for the instructions from the invigilator to move out in an orderly manner. Also, aspirants and their parents or guardians must avoid crowding outside the exam centre. While leaving, aspirants need to drop the admit card and rough sheets in drop boxes after showing it to the staff available next to them. A strict action will be taken against the candidate who misses to drop the admit card and rough sheet.
