GPAT 2024: Registered candidates can edit their application form by 11:55 pm
NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will close the pre-final edit window for Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2024 applicants today, May 23. Candidates can rectify mistakes in their photographs, signatures, and thumb impressions by 11:55 PM on the official website of the NBE, natboard.edu.in.
In an official notice, NBEMS stated that some candidates did not upload their photographs, signatures, and thumb impressions according to the given instructions for GPAT 2024. The board has asked these candidates to make corrections in their GPAT 2024 form during the pre-final edit window, allowing them the flexibility to make edits multiple times.
NBEMS also released a list of candidates who need to make re-submissions. The list includes the possible reasons for the initial rejection of the GPAT 2024 applications. Some of the reasons for rejection of GPAT application form 2024 are:
- Photograph being older than 3 months
- No formal attire in the photograph
- Slight side pose in the photograph
- Blurred signature
- Signature in capital letters
- Short form signature without initials
- Insufficient ink in thumb impression
GPAT 2024: Guidelines to edit form
Along with the reasons for rejection, the board also released a document of guidelines that applicants need to follow for GPAT 2024 which are as follows:
- Photograph in 35mm/45mm (width/height)
- Photograph with a white background
- Most recent photograph
- No other body parts visible besides ears, neck, and shoulders in the photograph
- Image in .jpg or .jpeg format
- Image size less than 80KB
NBEMS urged applicants to be careful with their resubmissions during the pre-final edit window for GPAT 2024. The final edit window will be open from May 28 to May 30.
The GPAT 2024 admit card will be available from June 3, with the exam scheduled for June 8. Results are expected to be announced on July 8.
