Candidates will get admission as per the merit list prepared on the basis of the theory percentile in the subjects physics, chemistry and math or biology of Class 12 in the examination and GUJCET percentile. 

In case, a candidate loses GUJCET marksheet, a duplicate mark-sheet can be obtained from GUJCET Cell, Gandhinagar by filling in the application form and paying Rs 200. 

After assessment, GUJCET result will be given in the marksheet. The marksheet of candidates will be sent to the school, from which candidates have sent their application forms. Result of other board candidates will be sent by post.

After declaration of GUJCET results 2023, candidates will be able to get a copy of OMR sheet by applying online at gseb.org or gujcet.gseb.org and by paying a fee of Rs 200. 

The concerned admission committee will prepare GUJCET 2023 merit list considering the percentile in theory of subjects of the selected group (A or B or AB) and GUJCET percentile.

"The Answer-sheet shall be of OMR type. The marks will be calculated as per the rules by computerization method after verification of the answer-sheet by the scanner. The correct answers (answer key) to the questions of each subject will be made available on the website of the Board before result," read the GUJCET 2023 booklet.

There shall be combined question papers for Physics and Chemistry. i.e. 40 questions of Physics and 40 questions of Chemistry and, thus, total 80 questions, 80 marks and 120 minutes will be given. OMR Answer Sheet shall also be for 80 answers. The question papers for Biology and Mathematics shall be separate and for that separate OMR Answer-sheet shall also be given. It means 40 questions in Biology and Mathematics each, 40 marks and 60 minutes shall be given. OMR answer sheet will be also for 40 answers.

• The respective centre administrator shall arrange for the seat numbers at the respective examination centre one day before the examination.
• The candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination centre without admit card and except for the candidate, no other person will be allowed to enter.

• Candidates need to enter the exam hall as per the prescribed date and time. 
• In any circumstances, the candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination hall after the time prescribed is over. 
• The exam will start and get over as per the time and date mentioned in the GUJCET 2023 admit card.
• After starting the examination, every half an hour signal will be given by way of a warning bell during the examination, five minutes before the completion of the examination the final warning bell will be rung as an indication. 
• The completion of the time of examination will be declared by a long bell. 
• On declaration of completion of the time of exam, the candidates are required to stop writing answers in the answer sheet. 
• Immediately thereafter, after applying the ‘Khakhi’ (brown coloured) sticker, the answer- sheet needs to be handed over to the block supervisor and for confirmation of the same, the candidates as well as the block supervisor need to sign the admit card as well as form.
• Under any circumstances, re-examination will not be taken.

The GSHSEB will conduct GUJCET 2023 exam as a pen-paper-based test across the districts of Gujarat.

The Gujarat CET 2023 date is today, April 3.

GUJCET 2023 exam will comprise Multiple choice questions (MCQs), Candidates will be required to attempt 120 questions in the exam.

The GUJCET 2023 exam for candidates belonging to the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology streams will be based on the lines of NCERT.

Candidates must mandatorily carry the hard copy of the GUCET 2023 hall ticket and a photo ID proof. In addition to this, they must also carry stationery items, and are free to carry transparent water bottles and sanitizer bottles to the exam centre.

Candidates taking the GUJCET 2023 exams should go through the list of items prohibited at the exam centre, provided below.

A total of 120 questions will be asked in GUJCET 2023 exam. Each correct answer will fetch one mark to the candidate, while every incorrect response will result in the deduction of 0.25 marks.
