NEW DELHI: The Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2023 was held today, April 3. GUJCET 2023 exam was conducted in shifts. The first shift was held from 10 am to 12 noon, the second shift was held between 1 pm and 2 pm, and the third started at 3 pm and will get over at 4 pm. The Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) which administers GUJCET has made the hall tickets available at gujcet.gsebht.in and gseb.org.
Candidates will have to mandatorily carry the GUJCET 2023 admit card along with a valid photo ID proof. A valid ID proof may be aadhaar card, driving license or Class 12 exam hall ticket. Without the admit card of Gujarat CET 2023, candidates will not be allowed to write the exam.

- Go to the GUJCET official website -- gujcet.gseb.org
- On the homepage, click on the GUJCET 2023 hall ticket link.
- Enter the required credentials and click on the ‘Submit’ tab.
- The GUJCET admit card 2023 will appear on the screen.
- Check, download and take a printout of the GUJCET 2023 admit card.

- In each examination hall, a maximum of 20 candidates will be allowed to sit.
- It is mandatory to keep five feet distance between two candidates and the sitting arrangement will be done accordingly.
- No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre without Admission Card.
- The respective centre administrator shall arrange for the seat numbers at the respective examination centre one day before the examination.
- The candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination centre without admit card and except for the candidate, no other person will be allowed to enter.

- Candidates need to enter the exam hall as per the prescribed date and time.
- In any circumstances, the candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination hall after the time prescribed is over.
- The exam will start and get over as per the time and date mentioned in the GUJCET 2023 admit card.
- After starting the examination, every half an hour signal will be given by way of a warning bell during the examination, five minutes before the completion of the examination the final warning bell will be rung as an indication.
- The completion of the time of examination will be declared by a long bell.
- On declaration of completion of the time of exam, the candidates are required to stop writing answers in the answer sheet.
- Immediately thereafter, after applying the ‘Khakhi’ (brown coloured) sticker, the answer- sheet needs to be handed over to the block supervisor and for confirmation of the same, the candidates as well as the block supervisor need to sign the admit card as well as form.
- Under any circumstances, re-examination will not be taken.

GUJCET 2023: Marking scheme
In GUJCET 2023, 1 marks will be given to candidates for each right answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

GUJCET 2023 tomorrow: Guidelines for candidates
- Candidates must carry the GUJCET 2023 hall tickets to the exam centre
- Applicants will have to reach the exam centre before the reporting time
- Candidates will not be allowed to carry certain banned items in the exam centre including mobile phones, electronic devices, headphones, and any other electronic gadgets

GUJCET 2023: Documents to carry
Candidates will have to carry the GUJCET 2023 admit card along with a valid photo ID proof (aadhaar card, driving license or Class 12 exam hall ticket) to the exam centre.
