Gujarat Maritime University invites applications for one-year LLM programmes

NEW DELHI: Gujarat Maritime University has announced admissions for one-year full-time LLM program for the academic year 2020-2021. The university offers LLM programs catering to the commercial aspects of Maritime value chain like maritime law, international trade law, logistics, and others. The admission to the course will be offered on the basis of CLAT PG which is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities.

Eligibility criteria
The university has prescribed the eligibility criteria in terms of minimum educational qualification and is as follows.

Candidate must have completed graduation in law with a minimum 55% aggregate marks. Candidates belonging to the SC or ST category need to secure at least 50% aggregate in the qualifying exam.

Those appearing in the final year of LLB are also eligible to apply for the admission.

Candidate should have a valid score in CLAT entrance exam conducted by Consortium of National Law Universities
Application and fees
The application for the admission can be submitted in both online and offline mode and is available at the university website. The application fee varies as per the category of the candidate as given below.

Admission process
The candidates will have to appear in the CLAT PG entrance examination. The scores obtained in the exam must be shared with the university. Once the CLAT scores are submitted, the university will announce the merit list of the shortlisted candidates.
