Download nowThe Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC) has extended the deadline for submission of choices for the Gujarat NEET PG round 1 counselling due to the addition of seats at CU Shah Medical College and Hospital.
As per the Gujarat NEET PG seat matrix 2025 released earlier, there are a total of 2,364 MD, MS, and PG Diploma seats available in Gujarat medical colleges . The revised count has not been announced yet. However, candidates applying for the Gujarat NEET PG counselling will be able to view college-wise seat availability and fee structure while filling the choices.
“Due to the increase in intake capacity for MD Pathology and MD Paediatrics at C. U. Shah Medical College & Hospital, the subject-wise tuition fees have been revised,” the ACPPGMEC said.
The Gujarat NEET PG choice filling facility has also been extended by a day, till November 28, up to 11 am.
As per the provisional merit list, 4,790 candidates have been declared eligible for PG medical admission under various categories and quotas.
The committee has also tweaked the Gujarat NEET PG admission policy to transfer vacant reserved category seats to unreserved category seats. “This process will be done at the time of allotment of the 3rd Round. Eg., from NRI quota to management quota and management quota to government quota and from SC, ST, SEBC, EWS to General (Open) category, from In-service/ PwD quota to respective category,” it clarified.
Recently, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) revised the state-level counselling timeline along with the NEET PG AIQ counselling schedule. State medical education boards will now have time till December 1 to complete the first round of admission process. The last date for joining the allotted college for state quota students is December 7.
