NEW DELHI: Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has released a notification announcing that GUJCET 2020 has been postponed due to the current COVID-19 situation. The entrance examination will now be conducted on August 22, 2020 in pen and paper mode. Previously, the exam was scheduled to be held on July 30, 2020.

Candidates can expect the GUJCET 2020 hall ticket to be released tentatively on August 12 since the official website states that the same will be available 10 days before the examination. GSEB will release the admit card at the official website gseb.org, where the registered candidates will have to log in to access their hall ticket.

GUJCET 2020 Registrations

The official notice also mentions the number of registrations for GUJCET 2020. According to the notification, 49,888 candidates have registered for Group A (PCM), 75519 for Group B (PCB) and 374 for both groups. In total, 125781 candidates have registered for GUJCET 2020.

About GUJCET

GUJCET is a state level entrance examination conducted for admissions into B.Tech and Pharmacy courses in the participating institutes. While the registration and examination process is conducted by GSEB, the counseling process is handled by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).
