Haryana Board to Conduct Class 8 Board Exams from 2021:Reports

NEW DELHI: Board of School Education, Haryana will conduct Class 8 Board exams from the academic year 2021 onwards, as reported by the Times Now News. This year, Class 8 students will be promoted to Class 9 without results.

Haryana board held Class 8 board examination till 2009. Thereafter, the board stopped conducting Class 8 board exams and schools started to conduct class 8 exams at the school level.

The report further says that from the last three year, the board was continuously writing letters to the State Education Department to resume the Class 8 board examination. This year, the department has given the nod to resume 8th board exams. The department has also direct to the board to promote all students to Class 9 without results.

HBSE 8th exams 2021 will be conducted in March-April 2021 along with Class 10 and 12 exams. 2 opportunities will also be given to students to pass Class 8 board exams.
