HP TET 2020 exam postponed due to COVID19

New Delhi- Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has postponed the HPTET 2020 which was supposed to take place on November 29 due to the rise in the number of COVID19 cases. Earlier the Director of HPBOSE had said that the JBTET was to be conducted from 10:00 a.m to 12:30 p.m and Shastri TET was to be held from 2:00 p.m to 4:30 p.m. According to reports in the media, seven officials of the board at Dharamsala tested positive because of which the decision was taken to postpone the exam scheduled on November 29.

About HP TET 2020

HP TET is conducted twice every year in offline mode to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of teachers for different subjects in government schools of Himachal Pradesh. This year the first session of the HP TET 2020 was postponed due to the lockdown caused by widespread novel coronavirus. The exam was later conducted in September.

Soon after the HP TET 2020, the authorities will release the answer key and candidates will get an opportunity to challenge it within a stipulated time.
