In order to succeed in a particular subject in the HPBOSE class 10 examination, students need to attain a minimum of 33 percent out of 100 marks. Additionally, students are also required to score 33% in aggregate to pass the HPBOSE 10th exam 2024. Students who are unable to qualify in the exam can sit for the HPBOSE Class 10th compartment exams 2024.

HP Board 10th Result 2024: Pass percentage at 74.61%

The HP Board 10th pass percentage 2024 stands at 74.61%. The HPBOSE 10th pass percentage 2024 has dropped by 15.09% as compared to last year. However, over the past couple of years, there was an increase in the overall pass rate for HPBOSE Class 10th exams. In the preceding year, the pass percentage stood at 89.7%, while in 2022, it recorded 87.5%.

HPBOSE 10th Toppers 2024: Girls grab top 2 positions

Ridhima Sharma secured the top position in the HP matric exam, followed by Kritika Sharma in second place. Ridhima, a student at a government school in Nadaun, Hamirpur, scored 699 marks out of 700 marks, achieving a pass percentage of 99.86%. According to reports, a total of 92 students made it to the top 10 in the HP 10th toppers list 2024, with 72 of them being girls.

In the previous year's Himachal Board 10th results, merely two boys secured positions within the top 10, in contrast to eight girls who achieved the same feat. Manvi emerged as the topper in last year's Class 10 exam, scoring 99.14 percent. Diksha Kathyal secured the second position with 99 percent, while Akshit Sharma and Akarshak Sharma shared the third spot, both achieving 98.86 percent.

HP Class 10th Result 2024: 10,474 students in compartment

A total of 10,474 students have been placed for HP 10th board compartment exams 2024. In HP Board 10th exam 2024, a total of 91,622 students were registered, out of which 91,130 students appeared for the exams. Among those who appeared, 67,988 students successfully passed their exams, while 12,613 students could not meet the passing criteria.

HP Board 10th Result 2024: Top performing district

According to the HP Board Class 10th district-wise result of 2023, Hamirpur emerged as the top-performing district with a pass rate of 96.35 percent, trailed by Kangra at 94.36 percent and Mandi at 93.12 percent. Conversely, Sirmour displayed the lowest performance, with only 79.19 percent of students passing the exams.
