HPBOSE 10th Result 2026: Of the 8,181 students, 4,930 cleared the matric second board exam, marking pass percentage of 60.27%

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has announced the HBOSE matric second exam July 2026 results, and the pass percentage stands at 60.27%. Notably, the overall exam pass percentage for the 10th matric main and seisd exams is 89.54%.
The HPBOSE matric second exam 2026 was conducted for students appearing for essential improvement, compartment, optional improvement, and additional subjects. A total of 8,181 students appeared, of whom 4,930 cleared the matric second board exam.
Overall, in the Class 10 main and second exams combined, 91,060 students appeared, and 81,110 cleared the exam.
Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the Himachal Pradesh board decided to implement the two-time board exams policy for Class 10. Students can now take board exams on two occasions during any given school year, one will be the main examination, and the other will be for improvement.
Students can also get their matric exam answer sheets re-evaluated or rechecked. Interested students can apply for re-evaluation only through the concerned school, via the online system on the board's website at hpbose.org.
Students will have to pay Rs 1,000 for re-evaluation and Rs 800 for re-checking per subject by September 9. Application forms will be valid only in online mode, and applications without a fee will be rejected straightaway.
The Himachal Pradesh board has also made copies of certificates available on DigiLocker. Students can download the HPBOSE compartment exam results 2026 through the official website or on working days at the board headquarters by telephone.
