HPCET counselling 2025 registration begins for BTech, BPharm, MTech admission; application fee

HPCET 2025 counselling registration is open at himtu.ac.in, with the last date to apply set for June 30.
Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has opened the registration window for the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2025 counselling. Candidates declared qualified in the entrance exam can register for the HPCET 2025 counselling through the official website, himtu.ac.in.
As per the official notice, the last date to register for the HPCET counselling 2025 is June 30. The institute conduct the HPCET counselling 2025 to offer admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), and others.
In the first round of admission to the BTech programme, 50 per cent of the seats will be filled based on the merit or rank secured in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. The remaining 50 per cent will be allotted on the basis of the merit of the HPCET for the corresponding year.
HPCET counselling registration fee
Candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks in the National Level Test-2025 or in the qualifying exams are required to pay a non-refundable application processing fee of Rs 1,600 for those belonging to the general category, including Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Rs 800 for candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Below Poverty Line (BPL) categories.
Candidates applying through both the National Level Test-2025 and HPCET-2025 will also have to pay the same fee. However, candidates applying only through HPCET-2025 are exempted from the application fee.

HPCET Counselling 2025: BTech, BArch seat availability
The table below provides details of BTech, BArch institutions, including the name of the institution, the courses offered, and the sanctioned intake for each programme. “Allocation of the institution and or the seats may vary at the time of counselling /admission for the academic session 2025- 26,” the information brochure said.
