HPU MAT 2024 registration starts at admissions.hpushimla.in; apply till May 8
HPU MAT is being held for admission in MBA programmes offered by HPU Business School and HPU regional Centre Dharamshala.

NEW DELHI: Himachal Pradesh University has started registration process for Management Aptitude Test (HPU-MAT 2024) on the official website, hpuniv.ac.in and admissions.hpushimla.in. Eligible candidates can apply for the HPU MAT for admission into MBA programme offered by university toll May 8. The HPU-MAT score will be applicable in Himachal Pradesh University Business School (HPUBS) and HP University Regional Centre Dharamshala.
Those applying for the HPU MAT 2024 should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with 50% marks (45% for SC and ST candidates). Candidates will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,000 for subsidised or non-subsidised seats. Students applying for both types of seats will have to submit Rs 1,500 as application fee. However, applicants from SC and ST category will get 50% discount in the application fee.
The candidates appearing in graduation final year examination can also apply. The HPU-MAT will be conducted at Shimla, Solan, Dharamshala, Hamirpur, Mandi, Una, Palampur and Nalagarh.
Exam pattern
The HPU MAT will have four sections – general knowledge, English language skills, reasoning and numerical skills, and business environment awareness. Each section will have 50 multiple choice questions (MCQs).

Students clearing the HPU MAT 2024 will be called for group discussion and personal interview. As per HPU norms, three candidates per each seat will be called for group discussion and personal interview.
The performance in the test, group discussion, personal interview and application rating will be the criterion for admitting the students.
