GNDU admission 2024 registration starts on May 8 at online.gndu.ac.in

NEW DELHI: Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar will start the GNDU admission 2024 registration process on the official website, online.gndu.ac.in, on May 8. GNDU will conduct admission for its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes on the basis of entrance exams and/or marks in qualifying examinations.

GNDU said it will hold admission for MSc Biotechnology through Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology (GAT-B 2024). The admission to BTech in Architecture will be held on the basis of marks in qualifying basis and NATA 2024 or JEE Main 2024 score. National Common Entrance Test (NCET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be used for admission into UG education programmes.

Registration fee

Students applying for the GNDU admission 2024 will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,500 for each programme. However, the application fee for SC category for Punjab domicile is Rs 750 for each programme. The fee can be paid through any branch of HDFC Bank or through online mode.

The university will conduct entrance tests for most of the PG and UG programmes in June and July. The GNDU 2024 counselling process will start by June end. Candidates selected in the entrance test or merit list will have to appear for interview or counselling before the co-coordinator of admission, interview panel, or board of control of the department concerned on a date and time as given in the admission schedule.

Students can access the admission schedule from the GNDU 2024 prospectus, which they can download on the official website, gnduadmissions.org/CampusAdmissions.

In case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks in the entrance test, the inter-se merit of such candidates shall be determined in order of preference as follows:

  • Candidates obtaining higher marks in the qualifying exam
  • Candidates older in age to be preferred.
